we have been using the brady idpal for quite some time now nad it has finally taken one to many drops.


so before we go and get a new one, anyone have any other suggestions on what they use instead?

I saw these at CEDIA. Plus, there's a new model coming out called the 3000 that is due in October, which is more geared for us residential guys.

It looked really cool. Plus, it's a fraction of the price of the Bradys.

I have searched this forum for this question. It was asked and extensively answered not two months ago...but I can't find the thread now! It had lot's of great suggestions!

but here ya go, this is the one we've had the most success with, WHEN WELL CARED FOR AND MAINTAINED!!!

you can do wire labels, equipment labels, even shrink wrap!

I use a Kroy 3000 which is PC based. I connect it to my laptop. I also use a PTouch. The Kroy does shrink tubing, self laminating and other coolstuff.

I heard some rave reviews about this thing and the price was killer. Sounded like the features could make it a huge time saver. Also I believe they have a less expensive model coming out for $100.
