Cant say im surprised, more surprised it took this long to sue them.

Its going to come down to who has the biggest pockets, that is if it doesnt get thrown out of court.

Either way this is fantastic and free "marketing" for HEOS. Definitely shows that sonos is threatened by them.

Maybe sonos wouldn't be so threatened if they actually opened up their products to us, the whole foundation of HEOS

Meh.

I wonder what they are doing that Nuvo didn't do.

I really want the other options to succeed so we can integrate.

I saw Heos for the first time Tuesday at the D&M training in LA.  I liked it more than I thought I would.  Have a few benefits over Sonos, but lacking in some areas too.

They are selling through retail outlets, which Nuvo didn't do.

They cant let one company slide on an infringement and penalize another.

Should be a long battle. They'll probably go after a few others as well.

One infringement claim is the buttons on a IP speaker. Lame.

HEOS is really geared for our channel with the open API.
More services and features will arrive after December 1st.
Looking forward to testing some.

I got 3 of the HEOS Link units for a job, only to find out that they really do not work well with iTunes (HEOS is DLNA) and will not (AFAIK) inport iTunes playlists.
This was a deal killer so I had to go buy Sonos Connects.
