hi guys,
for some time I've been looking for a socket that i can switch on & off via infra red, I see that RF versions are avalible but i want one that can be used with my pronto. i dont want to try and use a light switch as they also have dimmers. I just need a fused switch (like the one in the link below) to switch on and off my electric fire.
any ideas anyone?
thanks
Rich

There is a product from Xantech (680-10???) that has six switched outlets, which I think would work, but I would personally use something like a Xantech CC12 and an external 240v relay with a 12v coil( a CB21 would probably be easier to get thou, if the UK is similar to OZ)
