Not classical music theme, but one that probably all of us have hummed at one time or another. It's at 6:02 here: and lasts about two seconds.

It's like the Chopin Funeral March in that a small segment of it is part of our national, maybe international, psyche. But what does it come from?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

The only thing that came straight to mind is the theme song for Inspector Gadget.

Someone in the comments said it could be from the Pink Panther.

Sky Blocks - Part 10 - Our First Pet

No, it's not from Peer Gynt. You're probably thinking of "In The Hall Of The Mountain King," which even ELO performed.

Definitely not Inspector Gadget. Not The Pink Panther. I knew that melody way before Henry Mancini had a film scoring gig.

I don't watch game videos. Someone else asked what it was and I though I'd comb through the minds here.

Perhaps this would work, this will also start the video at the time frame that the "music" starts.

Best guess is that it evolved out of Zamecnik's "Mysterioso - Burglar Music 1" in Sam Fox Moving Picture Music Volume 1, which was published in 1913 and was apparently the first widely distributed collection of silent film music.

Well no wonder it's so hard to find. From what I can tell, it doesn't really have a name -- it's referred to variously as "The Villain's Theme" and "Enter The Villian", but even those are pretty vague in searches.

It seems that it comes from (a) silent film score(s) and appears to have no credited writer and in the public domain. Best I could glean from Google.
