As many Sonos players that I've installed, I've never added Sirius to Sonos for a client.

We'd like to decommission an old Polk XM tuner and add it to his Sonos Connect.

I think he also has Sirius in one or more of his vehicles.

Is it a painful process? (realizing that calling Sirius for anything is sometimes painful).

I think he has to add Sirius streaming to his account? And then establish a login and password?

You are correct. Add SiriusXM streaming to his account. Then just add SiriusXM service to Sonos like any other service and login.

You might be able to log into his account online and add online service. Adding stuff is usually not that tough. However, removing the old dead Polk tuner will be like trying to get a chihuahua to birth a baby elephant.
