I need to send HDMI via CatX from a Yamaha RXA1030 to a Sony LED and then from the LED location to a Sony projector. The projector idea was an afterthought so there are no continuous runs from the rack to the projector. There are CatX runs from the rack to the LED and from the LED to the projector. Is there an HDBaseT receiver that has an RJ45 "through" output that can send the signal on to another receiver?
I know I can use 2 sets and use a coupler at the the LED location but I might be using the extra CatX for local 4K media server and screen trigger at one or each display locations. The other option is the have the 4K server in the rack but I'm afraid I'll run into trouble with all the extra connections/splitting/length/coupler etc.

you could do this with JustAddPower.
a transmitter would connect to your source at the head end. then your cat5 would run to the tv and plug into a gigabit network switch. from there you would plug a JAP receiver into the switch and wire the hdmi to the tv. you would have another cat5 plugged into the switch and run over to the projector. you would install another JAP receiver at the projector and plug in the Cat5.

While the JAP solution would be fine for matrix/multi-room setups. To use it in a main setup like this (a theater room I'm guessing), may not be the best choice. It DOES have compression, it is NOT bit-for-bit original signal. If the goal of this room is picture quality, this is the wrong product. If this is just a multi-use room and picture quality is not top priority, then it should be fine. Most Joe 6packs won't be able to tell the difference.

I've seen a couple that have them but I believe the "loop out" portion is on the transmitter side of the kit.. Make nice clean terminations and give it a shot with coupling the cats.. Your other option, if you really want to keep the server local to the LED is trying an HDMI 1 X 2 splitter at the LED, 1 output to the LED, the 2nd output to another HDMI extender, but I've never tried that and have no idea how that will work out for you.

I spoke with Wyrestorm yesterday afternoon. They told me to wait until Cedia. They are introducing a new 100 meter 4k extender with BaseT loop out at the receiver. Exactly what I need.

That sounds cool, the only issue is when they show products off at Cedia, how long is it until they actually reach us for an install? Hopefully this job isn't too pressing.

Luckily I do have some wiggle room. If I'm asking the same question at the end of September you'll know how wise my decision to wait for a new product was.
