Hey guys... getting away from T-Mobile...

What are some good plans out there? I do a lot of texting and Pandora... Very little yacking on phone...

Any suggestions --- I was paying out about $230 per month before...

wtf? holy crap how many phones and were you going over your data regularly?

they are all expensive, Verizon is the most but their service is the best.

for a single line unlimited texted and 4gb data you should be looking around $70-80

+1 for Verizon.

It's a love hate thing. But they do have the best coverage I've ever seen...

I don't text, or use data, but do have two phones and more minutes that either me, or the bride, can use. Less than $70.00 a month.

As far as coverage goes, the wife had two phones, one AT&T and one Verizon and it was strange/coincidence that when one didn't have coverage the other one did.

Pick you poison.

Same here' exactly why I went with an AT&T pay per jb modem for my demo kit

We have five phones and two iPads, unlimited text and calling, 10Gb shared data ATT and still less than that.

What kind of legacy plan did you have?

ATT came out with their unlimited voice and text plan about a year ago and it's pretty cheap. I pay for 1.5GB of data, but they also have a 2.5GB plan. If I reach 60% of the data plan limit, they send a text and if I go over, they add 1GB, for $15. 2.5GB/month comes out to about an hour of Pandora every day but if you're on a WiFi network, that reduces the use of their in-network data use. I pay about $70 and have an iPhone.

FYI- My van's stereo doesn't have an AUX input, so I use an RF transmitter that plugs into the ear plug jack. The one I have is on the phone, not a long cord and I have found that it disrupts the cell phone's signal.

3 lines (one for my son, and one for a phone in Brazil that my friend WAS using - but I text a lot ---messaging on Facebook to Brazil & pandora about 1 hour a day). So yeah I'm one of those Facebook addicts...

I'm booting my son off since he makes more money than I do, and Lucy isn't using the phone down there, so it'll just be one line.

I might even go with a non contract deal.

I just saw this article and damn, that seems like a great deal.
Obviously, service in your area will be determining factor.
My wife is on Sprint while I'm on Verizon and we both pay way, way more than what these plans will offer, so we're definitely look at switching/combining plans.
