What great times those must have been. You really need to pen that book.
His new speaker line (pun intended) appears to be an update to an old theme.
The amps are gorgeous.

Yeah, a good guy and a good company. All a bunch of young guys and gals.

I'd give a couple body parts to own a pair of the Carver Silver 700 mono blocks!
All the reviews of the amps are pretty amazing. I wish him the best of luck. He said he's TRYING to retire... but well I don't think he ever will.

I owned those speakers. I bought them at Rabsons 0n w57 in Manhattan. I drove them with a Dyna 416 w/C100 capacitor bank, a DB Systems preamp and a Thorens TD126III turntable. My landlords were an elderly couple who were deaf. Mid 70's if I remember correctly. They sounded really nice. The only problem was they were not stable and an excited German Shepard could knock them over with ease.
In my small world I wound up working for the the salesman 25 years later when he was CEO of a regional retailer and I was the local project manager/install manager/programmer and chief fireman. Nice pictures.

Gotta go. On my way to see Dick Dale. Woo Woo

I haven't heard the new speakers, but a client has a pair of Silver 7 amplifiers running the biggest Sonus Faber speakers. Incredible.

Hey, Bruce: I know you have great respect for the man, but you're close enough in the age neighborhood, and have worked WITH him, not just for him, so I bet it would be okay for you to call him Bob.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
