Anyone know the model number of the Xantech Dual Tuner that is coming out. I know it retails for 700.

Huh??!!! No one at tech support could tell me about it! I just ordered the Russound XM dual tuner unit as the frustration level was rising and I couldn't wait any longer. It also has a full rs232 command set (and XM) so I doubt I blew it too badly. But fire away I would love to hear about it. I was under the impression there would be some announcements after CEDIA but nothing.

It is the same tuner as the dual tuner from Elan.

You actually have a Xantech model? Do you have a 6.4 video version? If so, what are the transparent buttons for?

Transparent buttons are for when it's in full screen mode.

Gatekeeper. Do you have a manual in.pdf form? The rs232 feedback sounds cool enough, I suppose another firmware upgrade is required for the lcd's? By the way have I actually found someone else who uses the Gatekeeper on a regular basis?

The RS232 feedback to the MRC keypads is very interesting - I can't wait to have a play with this and try and hack my way into the protocol. It would seriously make my month to be able to spit text into an MRC keypad. :)

Cheers,
-y
