I have a customer that we replaced an older Onkyo receiver with an Anthem MX710. Setup was easy and the sound quality from his Triad IC speakers was great. This is the first time I worked with an Anthem receiver. I have done their D2V before with Parasound Halo amps (in this house) and was impressed. Has anyone worked with Anthem? I am looking for some feedback on the line. TIA!

On of the better AVR's I have worked with. Also one of the least reliable AVR's I have worked with.

Great SQ
Amazing preamp
Receivers are a love/hate issue in regards to control, reliability
Another plus is they favor performance over useless bells and whistles such as a hundred sound fields

Great sound, however a couple years ago I was a dealer... sold about 22 receivers, 17 of them came back!

BEWARE!

The company said they would give us a credit... it turned into a long drawn out battle. Never again!!!

Been an Anthem dealer for 10 years and love the pre-pros and receivers. Only problem I had was with the first MRX-710 we sold. Great sound quality, going upstairs t listen to one now!
