Looking for the smallest audio video receiver on the planet. I need at least 5.1 and 3 HDMI inputs. I don't care about network capabilities etc.

Thanks.

I'm guessing everyone is going to suggest the Marantz NR series

He said he doesn't need network or anything, that's why i linked to the 1403.

Still not sure why an "NR" model - assumedly Network(ed) Receiver - doesn't have a network connection, but hey. It's $399 msrp and tiny.

Some HTIBs are thinner.

I can't find a half-width AVR, if that's what you mean by small.

You could go separates, and mount external amps unconventionally (vertically between rails and sides, near your 'knot', or in another room).

Not sure what a search of car/mobile/marine AV will get you.

Thanks. Marantz looks promising. Suprisingly i have plenty of width everywhere. Plenty of depth in most areas. Height is the primary issue. These look like 2U or lower so hopefully they work.

Yamaha RXS-600 is my go too.

NR stands for Narrow Receiver, SR stands for Standard Receiver

@ bruce, there have been mobile solutions for over 15 years. Not common, but definitely available.
