Cake to do a battery change. Pop open the rear batt cover on the S70, remove the pigtail on the batt and replace with new batt. Someone on amazon selling battery clones for nevo s70 for about $15

Why not take this opportunity to sell them a new remote?

Duct Tape,

you seem to know a ton about NEVO s70. My remote has been acting up, 3 days ago when I take the remote off the cradle it goes blank, dead screen…if I place back on cradle it reboots and i have to accept date and then it will work. again, i can't take it off the remote. Prior to this battery was holding a 4-5 hour charge. Thoughts?

Put a multimeter on the power supply for the dock, and make sure the voltage is correct.
If not, replace with a 'same spec' power supply.
If yes, then replace the battery with one of the 'made for' batteries available for that remote online.
If that doesn't fix it, replace remote with whatever is current in today's market.

Not many variations you can do to the above troubleshooting and fixing.
