With the closure of ES (dang), I'm seeking where Kef has moved distribution - any suggestions appreciated, thank you.

Kef dealers in the Northwest must compete with Kefs online store. In my area we have a 9.5% sales tax. No tax if bought online & free shipping. Ran into a lot of folks showrooming / auditioning the speakers then buying from Kef direct.

Sales tax is a part of life. Here in California you will pay sales tax regardless of whether its an online purchase or not.
I have no problem selling KEF.

Yeah, but you do the dog and pony show... and call the client a week or so later only to hear, thanks but I bought them online to save the 9.5% sales tax!!!!
