..., you get the closet.... :-)

That might be an upgrade room last fall.

I can't believe you dodged out of that Oktoberfest/ street party last year. It was a good time and the band was actually very good. Possibly the highlight of the entire week, except for hiking my first 14k peak earlier that week.

I might have stuck around for the street party were it not for my MG getting the better of me. Lot's of noise, a pretty rowdy crowd, and no place to put my fat ass when I get out of kilter? Not a place to be.

Besides, I needed to get up very early for "the tour of the desert" as I call the drive out to the Kansas airport. That, and I knew there was a nice bottle of wine in the room. :-)

CEDIA was traditionally the week of Labor Day. When they canceled out of Atl early, they took what they could get. It's been floating since then. But is getting closer to Labor Day again.

I was never a fan of the Labor Day week scheduling. It sucks to cut short a holiday weekend... Plus the poor saps that have to set up during said weekend. That has to blow!!

If things go as I hope they do, I will be a local to Cedia this year. Well, at least up in the mountains above Denver.

I know you're joking but seriously, Uber is the coolest service EVER! It's 15% more than cab's but worth every penny!

where is the condo? anymore left?

I will probably stay downtown again. last year it was the Sheraton about 3 blocks from convention center. paid more for the room, but didn't have to wory about taxis, etc.

we found a good deal from the airport to the hotel. Brother Limo Service. a few bucks more than a shuttle and a straight shot from the airport to hotel. pickup when we needed.

Heading out on the 4th and coming home on the 15th.
Very much looking to CEDIA and Denver this year.
Staying downtown again this year for easy walk to show/setup.
Taking boots and proper clothes to go hiking this time and maybe a bike.
It is also possible that Roddy (and Heather) will be local then, so.........

Yes, the plan is that Heather will also be local. If you want to do some hiking you really need to come up to the mountains before the show.

And folks, Denver is not in the mountains. It is next to the mountains!! ;)

Check Out www.VRBO.com i believe they have the one bedroom still availible, we have the 2 bedroom 1300sq.ft. one so dont even try that! ;-)

The Ritz Carlton Condo is 5 blocks closer to the convention center then the sheraton and was better priced, splitting it with 3-4 other guys makes the trip dirt cheap, plus it has a kitchen so we can cook breakfast and lunch to save even more money.

We managed to got a killer deal from a guy last year, iirc it was like 50 bucks for 4 of us to ride! we winged it last year and there was a nice fellow (legit company) that yelled out to us asking if we needed a ride into the city.

Im so freaking excited....I hope texas next year will be as nice/fun as denver is

Does anyone's excitement have anything to do with Colorado legalizing marijuana?
