Im running through the setup on some H25 recevers. When I hit menu for the first time I get a message telling me that power saving mode is enabled. It also says to turn this feature off, press menu, select "settings" then "Power Saver"

But Power Saver is no longer in the settings menu. Does it only show up if DVRs are on the system? Or did DTV change something again?

Commercial account?

you can not disable the power save feature on commercial accounts, At least thats what i have been told.

the vast majority of the receivers i have done for the last two years have been commercial accounts that i am controlling through SHEF, i just send the power on command every three hours.

Wow, that's really dumb. You get DirecTV so you can have video all the hours that you're open, so customers can have something to look at, and DirecTV turns it off every four hours? Spectacularly, outrageously, award-winningly dumb!

And I don't remember running into it with the last few H25s.

That's not the first model that said you could change power saving but did not have it in the menu. I don't remember where else I've seen it, but it's out there. Figured the software was flawed and we'd have to wait for an update.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
