Why does this society fear less than 2% of the population ??

These are things that need to be discussed.

I have several clients that are gay, and they do not agree with the activists.

They say to these people... Quit accusing others of what you yourself are doing.


So what if the guy donated money to a cause....happens EVERY day. So what if he thinks marriage should be between a man and a woman...
Does this affect his ability to run a company?
Our own president agreed with him at the time...

I think we all should walk a mile in someone else's shoes, before judging, no? I often have to remind myself that, as I am often quick to judge...and I wish to correct that flaw.

Bigotry is bigotry, no matter how you spin it. And until you've personally spent years being oppressed, you can't say you've "walked that mile".

I was born a white, heterosexual, upper middle class, WASP male and have not had to grow up with the disadvantages others face every day. and if you think it's not an advantage, then ask yourself, would you trade places with a black man, a homo sexual, a poor ethnic woman. If your answer is "Hell No" (what my answer would be too) then maybe we should all not be so quick to judge.

I'll close with your typical closing line ( because I like it). "My nickel" ...

I am only pointing out the hypocritical speech of this group. What if they jumped your ass for being who you are? Or me? Or Stanley for mourning the loss of a friend? Or anyone else that has their own opinion? Why is it SO wrong to have your own opinion? Eich did not hurt anyone by merely donating to a cause he believed in. Spewing hate to silence someone for their opinion goes against their own creed.

Speech railing against and oppressing a group, is a form of oppression.

You can choose to believe that it's ok, but it's not.

I don't read left wing blogs and I suggest you quit reading right wing blogs, as they only fuel the prevailing belief in Texas. Blogs like that are only designed to appeal to a fringe and keep stoking the fire to stay in the froth. I hold out that you are inherently smarter than this. But I may be setting myself up for disappointment.

FP...I'm just sick of people being demonized for having their own opinion. This guy lost his job for having an opinion that was mainstream ... Not different. Even Bill Maher agreed, and he is surely not on the right.
