Daniel, when you had to use HTML for links on this site, which then I was using WebTV, it wouldn't work unless I separated img from src by pressing the spacebar to the end of the line, then type src, which would wraparound to next line. Separating img from src by hitting spacebar a couple of times wouldn't work. Nor hitting the next key and typing src on the second line wouldn't work either. Was this do to the WebTV? Or is it the way it has to be?

Sorry, no idea on that one. WebTV might've been doing something strange, like putting in character codes or non-breaking spaces instead of normal spaces, or for some reason trying to parse the HTML itself before posting.

Currently, you can't readily enter raw HTML in the "advanced" editor (it doesn't work well for that unless you always remember to use the SOURCE button), but with the Normal editor, quite literally whatever you enter should be directly parsed by your browser later.

Serious man, I told you how. Just post the direct link. No tags, no HTML, just post the link to the picture, thats it.

Ok, once that has been experimented with, I see it. But it's not that simple.
First, photobucket labels it a Direct Link, a definite label. Your lack of capitalization says you're giving me a general term, not quoting the name of the thing as it appears on the website.
Second, when I first uploaded the photo, I could see the photo on the site but the box with links had not yet appeared.
So, after that box shows up:
Third, the "Links to share this photo" have four entries:
Email & IM: okay, it's probably not that one
Direct: what is there, without one of you telling me, about the word "direct" that implies that this is the one to choose?
HTML: what is there, without one of you telling me, about "HTML" that tells me to use this or not to use it? After all, you can enter HTML on this site.
IMG: In earlier years, you'd use imgspacesrc, just as Daniel explained in one of the posts in this thread. Sometimes you still have to use it, as Daniel explained. So what about this title all by itself says I should not choose it?

By the way, after I clicked on "Direct," the label "Email & IM" changed to "Direct" ! !
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Seriously dude. Take your head out of your ass and look at the world the way everyone else does. Maybe then you can see things for they are. I don't think I've encountered a more annoying individual in my entire life. Please tell me how I can reword that to make it more clear for you to understand.

I want to add, how do you know how to breathe without being told? I am sure you were not given explicit directions on how to inhale air, and how to exhale. Would that be a correct assumption? How do you now how to walk? Were you given a properly formed and grammatically correct list of instructions? I mean surely you must have figured that out somehow.

How about finding RemoteCentral, surely someone must have written the actual URL on a piece of paper, along with directions on how to plug all the cables in on your computer, then plug the power into the wall socket, which I can only assume you were given clear directions on how the wall socket is wired and how the electricity is delivered from the panel to that outlet, but first I am sure you were given an explanation at the very least on how the electricity was delivered to the house. But that is a bit off point. Once you were given the instructions on setting up the computer, were you able to follow some hand written or typed, again grammatically correct, directions on how to open up your network properties and get the computer on the internet? Then did the directions point you in the correct direction on how to open up a browser, type in the URL for RemoteCentral.com? I may have missed it since it was so long ago, but did Daniel have directions on the main page on how to register for the site, step by step? Surely there must have been.

Things are faster when you do it the way I posted, there is 1 less step.
You don't have to actually open the picture you want to post. When in the library, the codes are posted right under the picture, just copy from there. You don't have to go the extra step and open the individual picture just to get to the code.

Ernie, just copy the Direct Link and paste it in the message box. (Just like goldenzrule said) On the iPad (Photobucket app) there is an icon that looks like chain. When you tap it, a menu of links will drop down. Copy and paste. Not sure what it looks like on a PC.

Wish I had realized it was that easy. Not that I have anything as cool as what most most people post lol.
