Since IP is down, and I was on vacation last week, I don't know what was decided as far as anybody getting together for beer and extra curicullar activity in Indy.

Yup, parties will be over.....NEC party is 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Just take a look at the shuttle schedule for those staying in outlying hotels....

I got stuck downtown one year after the Monster party, since the shuttle service ceased operating at about 9pm. Finally managed to get a cab, and it cost me $30.00 to get back to my hotel. Was not awfully happy about that.

Apparently the "suits" of CEDIA are staying downtown and didn't/don't consider this a problem?

I don't know what the streets rolled up thing is... I was taken aback last year that the bars didn't close till 3. Once I get a drunk on I usually have to have someone tell me to go home. I'm used to 2 AM here in Washington so i missed an extra hour of hangover recovery. There are a lot of places... though some might consider them seedy where one can stay up as late as one wants... theres the college bar district about 5 miles out of town that stays live and the Slippery Noodle is quite a blast.
Even Jillians aint bad for mindless video game entertainment.

I say the party don't start till you arrive and then wherever you are... you're there!

How about we use this board to post e-mail or cell phone #s and post em here. Everyone take a printout and call when the schedules look a little less foggy.

Aside from the other parties, if I have time, I'll be at Howl At The Moon. The place starts to rock when it gets late, and the fine lookin' ladies are in abundance.

Other than that, maybe the blues club that used to be a whorehouse - the name slips my mind, but a google search will find it.

Hope you guys have made your dinner reservations already, 'cause the really good steak houses are very hard to get a good reservation time right now.

We had some interested people at IP but that site is down right now.

I'll be there this year. Flying out tomorow afternoon, and will be there until early Sunday morning. What happened to IP? I've been away from IP and here for awhile now...Been working on an HTPC, and between searching for proper display settings, and getting it integrated well, I've been on a lot of HTPC forums. My brain hurts...cedia will be a nice vacation!
