Friday night brain fart!!

When a Procontrol Remote R is sending the macro, does it run commands run on remote first then runs command sent from processor or do they run simultaneously.

Actually you can tell it to pause on the remote and run commands on processer in the macro. I do it for configs that have tv's with long delays following power on (input change on tv, etc.)

I believe most macros are sequential in nature, hence the need for if/else or goto statements.

I know what you are asking. I do not know for sure, but from memory, I think they both initiate at the button press. I say this because the page flips are instant unless you put a delay in front, and the first command from the processor seems to happen at the same time.

There is a command in the macro list that says start processor commands. On the ones I have done I flip to a wait page then run processor commands then finish macro and goto source page
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

It runs then run then sometimes runs and finally runs.
