I have an install coming up with a Sony 4k TV, and it is going to be hooked into a Just Add Power System. I am also putting in the 4k server. Can I put the Sony 4k Server in the recessed box? Originally there was supposed to be cabinetry below the TV, which they axed. I was going to mount the JAP box behind the TV. Now I am wondering if I should just put the JAP Receiver, 4k Media Server, and a surge protector a recessed wall box like Intuitive or the Snap Versa Box. How hot does the server get? Any issues with IR codes? Control system will be On Controls.

Thanks,

Mike

check out this piece from intuative...very cool...

and dealer pricing is very good...don't know if it would fit your player...but the JAP would fit.

I want the TV as close to the wall as possible, so I would prefer a recessed box. Interesting piece from Intuitive....those guys are so intuitive.

Put 2 of intuitive boxes together.

Trim out one side of box, vertically. Rivet the together. Now, you'll room for devices are need to be install.

Downside is you'll also need to sacrify one of the stud...
