Quick question... I want to do a poe to a panel but i have to add in a keystone to tie into this location. anyone try this? Will poe work past the keystone? dont have to worry about keystone shorting it ? just trying to make sure that this piece of plastic wont burn up because of the power

im going to try and assemble a test setup real quick since im onsite ,but figured i would check with the forums too

what panel?

PoE is definitely OK to pass through keystone. that is how 98% of all PoE products are connected.

Be careful of that POE stuff. It's ravenous.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

It's all hooked up and working. If we know ahead of time of an object using Poe we always try to make it a solid wire from the switch. But this video/intercom at the gate was brought up after so keystone was the only way to do it.
