Hello All,

I wanted to see if anyone knew of a DVR that could handle a specific request. We have a client that is requesting we update his current DWD DVR with one that can reliably send an email with picture attachments from all cameras that have their sense inputs wired into the alarm panel.

The goal is to have an email sent with an overview of the site (the cameras) when the alarm goes off.

We currently have this feature with DWD, but the DWD DVR is sending pictures from different parts of the day. We will have 1 email with nighttime and daytime pictures. I've worked with their tech support for almost a year with trying to fix this issue with no success.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jeff

Tried Tech support. No Go. It will send a separate email for each camera.

So you're looking to have 1 email sent with 1 snapshot of all the cameras?

16 jpegs in one email would not pass most email providers.
Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

Yup, I agree that's gonna be a long shot.....It's not good enough to just send a snapshot from the camera in the zone that was tripped, then the client can log in remotely to view the rest?

Zohan,

They've seen the 14 picture email on the current Digital Watchdog, so I'm battling the issue that they've seen that it can be done. FYI. We only want all the cams when the Security Alarm trips.

IC Realtime is going to test inhouse tomorrow and let me know if one of their units will.

ceied: FWIW, the DWD email isn't that big a file, it's only 200kb +/-. And that's with 14 pictures. Granted the pictures show the present and the past, who knows maybe even the future LOL due to the glitching.
