I've used this piece before, works great. Needed one in a pinch, drove down the street and had one in 30 minutes.

Sorry, looks like they sell a different one now this is the new one. Or if you can find one of those somewhere else.

Looks like on this one instead of coming with a remote, you can teach the unit what IR codes to use, which might come in even handier. I have not used this unit, just going by what the manual says.

I haven't used on but there are differences in quality among switchers but here is an inexpensive one.

For better quality look at Inday You would need two units, one for audio and one for video. Not under $100 though but reasonably priced for the performance. Sometimes cheap is just that. Some info.

Steve

If you need a component switch AND a converter from HDMI-Component, why don't you just tell them that a new receiver is a better way to go? Less screwing around, you won't have to deal with IR control or copy protection and it will have the current capabilities for everything, relative to price.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

The reason I need to covert the ROKU to component is
as follows. This ROKU 3 is being added to a 4 zone system that is about 7 years old and the the 4 receivers for each zone are older and have no HDMI capability. Buying one new receiver I could consider. Buying 4 new receivers is not financially possible.

4x1 component video w/analog audio. Control options are RS-232, IR, auto, and manual. If you're still looking for a solution, send me a PM and I'll respond with dealer pricing.
