So tonight, after the kids were finally in bed my wife asked if I saw the story about the figure skater that fell through the ice. Confused how that could happen in an arena rink (although the conditions at Sochi have been bad enough for anything to happen) I googled it. Yep... My worst fears were true. My challenge was to chose my words very carefully [Link: theonion.com]

I take it that your wife has never heard of the Onion or she saw it from another source....
The Onion attacks!
Who was it on here that fell for a fake story not too long ago? Was it Ernie?
Ahhhh..Good times.
Nothin' more fun than the fleeting opportunity to make the little lady feel dumb. :)
Good luck getting laid before June. :)

Actually, yes to both of the first two questions. Never heard of it, and apparently neither have several of her Facebook friends. I would have rather the story been true than to have the conversation I had to have.
Yep... In screwed. Or maybe more correctly not screwed for a while

LOL Macbook Wheel was one of the best ones ever.
"Just open the intuitype alphabet menu, scroll to the letter you need, and center click to select it, click again to capitalize, and repeat this process for each new letter, couldn't be simpler"
"everything is just a few hundred clicks away"

I remember the day I showed the owners of my company all the Onion videos on youtube in our office. We sat there for at least an hour in tears. The 3 posted above were in the list of ones we watched. I still think the Macbook Wheel one might be the best ever. How much production went into that??
