In light of the other thread I thought I would post this.

When I wanted to enter the production market and use a quality product that allowed me to be both competitive and profitable "They were there"

When I wanted to try a product but was really afraid to spend the money without knowing the end result "They were there"

When I had to load 21 model homes throughout 4 projects and needed to be less than less expensive "They were there"

When one of their products failed on a very large and high profile job and I needed a replacement that worked and I needed it yesterday "They were there"

When I decided to throw the whole option book at a St. Judes dream home for charity "They were there"

When I wanted to talk shop regardind trends and product development to fit my company needs " They were there"

When I called my rep a week ago to explain why we basically dropped under the radar "They were there"

When our friends at Snap talked to my rep the phone began to ring and offers of prayer and reassurance that they had my back were a constant. "They were there"

When I needed something/Anything to feel good about, "They were there"

In the other thread I have read so many things that just blow me away. I wonder how many of you have a true perspective on how much your relationships with your vendors mean.
You guys have not seen me here for a while and most likely will not for a while to come. I just cant be here right now.
The fact that I'm taking time to post this means so much more than the posting itself given the cards life has dealt me as of recent.
I just think its important to step back and take a good look before bashing a company that truly cares about you.

I could not have more respect for a company.

Personally and publicly, "Thank you Snap" You are true friends and my feelings for you are from deep within the heart.

WVL,

You did not mention the source of your problems, but hope that you find the strength to overcome this problem.

You are a member of the RC family and until you return you will be missed.

Jeff is what's good about this industry. I submit that few are more deserving of positive thoughts and our willingness to help him out in any way we can if he requests it. The reasons don't matter; if a champion of our industry and an overall positive light needs help I trust that any of us will be there for him.

WVL, I meant this to be funny! I hope you got that. I agree, I think snap is a great company to do business with. Of what I buy, I am always happy. Have never had a single issue. The way they do business simply can't be beat. If other vendors had been as vigilant, snap would probably not exist.

Jeff, If there is anything i can do to help out please let me know. Ive seen your post's on FB and i hope everything is working out.

Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.

As far as snap goes, they are great for the pieces I use (hardware) I have found anything with a cord to cost me more money then i made and will no longer purchase electronics from them. But for mounts, hardware, and planet waves they cant be beat.

Thanks guys.
Also thanks for all of the emails.

I realize I didn't give much info which generated a lot of questions.

For those who are still wondering, this isn't business related.
My son (8 years old) has been very sick and was recently diagnosed with a very rare cancer (less than 100 cases historically)
His status is level 4 and success rate is 1%
I've shut down all custom and put production and security in my brothers hands until I can return.
For now I am living in a children's hospital and sleeping next to his bed.
I don't have a lot of time to visit this site but check in from time to time while he's sleeping. My second child is due in two weeks and although I'll go home for the birth I will turn around and come right back here. This is a level of stress I have never experienced before. Really puts things in perspective.

A few of you have come to visit me here and I really want you to know how much I appreciate it. A simple distraction is like a vacation for me.

For those of you offering prayer I do have a request. Please add the need for better cafeteria food to that prayer. It's terrible. (Except for the mixed meat and gravy like substance plate) that's surprisingly good.

Thinking of you and your son Jeff, I can't imagine what you must be going through. My kids' half sister (long story) was diagnosed with Bequeath Wiedemann Syndrome when she was less than a year old, it was a long hard battle for every one, she is 8 now and still has to be monitored every few months.

Try to stay as positive as you can, I know this is a hard battle, I pray you son wins. Love him, love the new baby, we're pulling for you over here.
Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here!

Jeff, Brendon filled me in before the post and I didn't want to say anything until you were ready to share with the forum. I am so sorry that you and your family are going through this tough time. You, your son, and your entire family will be in my prayers. Per your request, I will pray for better cafeteria food for you as well. If there is anything we can do, I don't think I would be stepping out of line by saying we would all be more then willing to help out in any way we can.

Stay positive, Jeff. Your facebook posts about this say a lot about the kind of man you are. It's obvious why you have so many friends and family members on your team.

Maybe we can get some of the local trunk slammers to deliver some decent food to Jeff?
