I've got a couple of sets of these. 95% of what I need is handled by this:

ONE six foot rod with rounded ends and wire tying holes at each end. This handles way more than 50% of my needs.

ONE extendable rod made for replacing spotlights, with a hook I made by twisting a ceiling tile support wire around the threaded end of the rod. The attractions to this are that it's shorter than the average pull rod; it extends to fifteen feet; and it's rigid over its entire length, so there's no bobbing and tweaking to get it to go over that ceiling joist fifteen feet away. And it costs less than $20.  Compare that with the prices of all these other things!

I've also got a fifteen foot long piece of aluminum ground wire, 10 ga or 8 ga, with a magnet glued (thank you, Goop) to one end. It can be bent straight, bent to go around things in a wall, latch onto a steel bead chain two feet to the side of the chain, and... be stored as an 8" loop of wire.

I don't like LSD for a lot of different reasons.  I think the vast majority of their products are over hyped pieces of garbage that don't last through a couple of uses. (errr..base boarz it kit)

That being said, the only Glow Rods I like are LSD.

The rest of them that I've found are either too stiff, not stiff enough, yada yada yada.

IMO LSD has the best Glow Rods.

Found these at Cedia Atlanta a few years back, they have been a huge improvement over the typical LSD sticks and no fiberglass splinters.

+1 LSD Creepzits. No substitute in my mind...unless you're in a situation where you need something stiffer.

My branch told me that they don't show the 36' kit in their system, but they could order it. That only came up because I got the smaller kit that didn't come with the Chinese finger gizmo. I paid $60 for the smaller kit as it was on sale.

Why don't you have web access again?
I did it years ago, but it was either a form that got sent to corporate or web submission thing. Call your corporate account rep, not the guy behind the counter.
A*I is setup in a way where counter guy has zero influence or knowledge about your setup or your account terms. That's why you will see guys here (Dave just today) talk about accounts being frozen and counter guy not being able to help. They have to call customer's account rep to remove the freeze.

A*I is one of the more irritating companies to work with, from such facts as just getting into the website to being nearly an act of God to such silliness as them stocking plenum RG59 but no plenum BNC connectors for 59. Maybe it's just my local guys. I don't know.

I like the LSD sticks as well. Another favourite of mine is their Wet Noodle. It's a bendable stick with rare earth magnets on each end, different strengths, and comes with a 10ft (?) chain. I tape the noodle to my sticks and use it to grab the chain. I use that combination of tools in almost every job.

Another new favourite of mine call a Python

It comes with a crazy power full magnet that I have screwed onto my LSD rods and used to grab a horizontally run fish from inside a wall and bend it down into the wall, etc. Very useful combination.

I like the LSD rods. I got one pair from Sn*p and one from A*i. The ones from Sn*p have been great, and have had them about a year longer than the other set. The ones from A*i overall have been great, but one of them did break, almost when new. I didn't think the angle was that extreme but it did snap. Otherwise, no issues, and have never gotten a fiberglass splinter from them.

The Greenlee glow rods however, was like fishing wires with a cactus. I had several sets of those over the years, and ALL of them splintered horribly and it was a constant issue. Haven't looked back since switching to LSD.
