I recently purchased a new display - Samsung HLP5063W. While the picture looks pretty good now (I did some adjustment), I would like to get it ISF calibrated. I've done some web searches and looked in the yellow pages, but have been unable to find anybody offering this service in the Miami area. I checked with the companies carrying high end gear and was unable to find one who did calibration. Sound Advice will calibrate the set, but I'm not sure about their level of quality.
Three questions:
1) Why is it so hard to find ISF calibration service offered?
2) Why isn't this service offered with every display sold? I would think that it would be almost as profitable as extended warranties.
3) I know that this is not the marketplace forum, but any recomendations?
