The frequency response is rated as "50Hz - 30kHz"0 wouldn't it be freaking nice if they stated ± SOMETHING?????

haha i did see that they were rated to 50 hz but i expected a roll off of some sort.. These just fall flat near 50 hz

Oh, there's a roll off, alright. Starts about 150Hz, apparently.

How loud will this be, in normal operation? If it will be more than about 85dB, it's gonna sound like crap if the room is large, square, reflective and minimalist.

I guess that's what happens when interior detonators get their way.

Why can't you get a bunch of those Klipsch lightbulb-speakers and call it a day?

I replaced 1 pair with the sonance VP88R and used the square adapters. They are pretty amazing

It was a super close fit due to the bigger size of the monitors.. I just need to pony up the money to replace the other 2 prs. I hate them so much I don't even turn them on

I am using 3 of them for surrounds and they are great but aren't required to play bass.

My thought is to move the sonance to one room and then either try out the Martin Logan vanquish or??? I dunno. The sonance are great but expensive so it's just deciding what do to with my main entertaining area that has 2 prs of speakers that need to be replaced
