Client called and told me he has changed from TWC to Dish, and now that the installer is done, there is no audio for the surround system.

From what I've gleaned from the client, the Dish system doesn't have a digital audio output utilizing a Toslink.

Anyone know if that's the case?

I'm afraid the client has opened a big can of worms once again....

It has toslink....

Dish prob didn't plug it in. Looks like a service call for ya.
Knowing that Gold went up a few K makes me think "well now I have to do a better job on selling more equipment".

Seeing that, I bet the TWC box was actually using a Digital Coaxial Connection instead of a Toslink.

It's been some time since I have been out to that system.

Regardless, there will be a nice fat payday coming, since I'll need to program the URC control (hopefully the Hopper POS is in the URC database).

Yes, its under VIP 722 or something like that. Not sure what codeset it is. I don't have CCP in front of me but will check when I get a chance in a few minutes

Thanks for that.

This should be painless. For me, not the client.....
