Serious. I didn't remember the acronym, though I read the article. I think it's usually more obvious when I mess with you. Who knows? Maybe I'm more sensitive and subtle than I thought? (see, that's messing with you.)

If they are in the medical profession or involved in supply chain make sure the service you sell is HIPAA compliant...

My mistake. The industry mag is ChannelPro. SMB, I think, is another free trade publication that might have some useful info though.

Page 29 of this issue is an example:

Its primary audience is small IT businesses. But, I think there is some crossover to residential (or, there should be, for high end Resi).

Current HIPAA compliance regulations for data storage and handling are punitive and oppressive and the penalties for violation severe. You'd want to legally distance yourself from any liability for contents stored on shares that you are "leasing" to clients if that's even possible...
