Hi,
I am looking for advice on a remote purchase. I need a small and simple remote to control zone2 from a denon avr3805.
A friend suggested the Theater master mx-200 but it is a little to simple.

It needs to to control:
zone on, off
dvd play, stop, menu, menu controls
cd play, stop
tuner pre up, down
volume up, down
and input selection for the above.

and above all it needs to be female friendly. :)

Thanks
Daniel

I think all the people who responded before me have listed all the answers there are to that one.

Can anyone say "mutually exclusive" ?

You are working with three factors that are mostly mutually exclusive.

A small remote, like the 200, has decent sized buttons but cannot do what you want it to do. A small remote with enough buttons would not be female friendly, although you could paint it pink.

In fact, would ANY remote with all the buttons you mention actually be female friendly? I actually think you should look for a TS1000 or TSU2000 and create macros so that no actual input selection is done. That way, the buttons can be BEEEG, as you would only put a few on each page of the remote. Volume, mute and channel up and down are hard buttons, so that is a bit easier than the touch screen.

And, if you are careful, you could paint it pink.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Consider a Harmony SST 768. It's available in red (almost pink....)
It has a help button
It's activity based
It's small
