I just installed a DaLite electric screen and it came with a Somfy IR Remote for up down and stop. I can't get my Pronto TSU7000 to learn the codes. Any ideas???

There was a thread in the Pronto NG forum a month or so ago with a few suggestions, the one I used was putting the remote much farther apart for learning than normal ( as far as my arms could stretch). Try searching that forum for more details. I have a PCF that works, the only quirk is that you have to hold the down button a little longer than normal, but it works every time and the client is happy. If you want to try my config you can e-mail me (profile) and I'll send it to you.

Good luck,

Roddy

I was going to say, Most screen motors are made by Somfy. So the fact that the somfy codes work is a good indication that it's probably a Somfy mototr.

Also check the Pronto OG (Old Generation) files section. There are YEARS of files in there, and probably some Somfy that will work.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Thanks for the help. It didn't dawn on me to search for Somfy CCF's but there are a few. My problem with the "hold the button a few seconds" solution is that I want the sreen action as part of a macro. Is it possible to program a "hold a few seconds" macro.

The codes under visionart don't have to be held down. I used them in power on and off macros.

Make sure you bring a learning remote with you to CEDIA :)
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
