well i have developed a habit over the last 5 years. cigars and cocktails. what says you!? whats your combination.

You may be upset to hear that Dennis Prager is a smoker of fine cigars. He'd likely just have the ice water, I think, but I could be wrong about that. I don't smoke but it's not a problem. Enjoy.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Ughhh.  I love cigars. But I quit smoking, so I can't touch Cigars anymore.  I miss them more than cigarettes.

This happened to me too, when I was younger. At the time I was a heavy cigarette smoker who finally kicked the habit. Hadn't smoked in over a year when I was offered a cigar. Tried it and next thing you know I was back smoking cigs a pack a day.

Took me another year to quit but now no more cigars and cigs for me. I definitely have an addictive tendency so I have to watch myself.

I wanted to revive this thread for a minute.

Does anyone know of or have a favorite online place to purchase cigars? (I know our business is all about relationships, but the smoke shops around me make me feel a little dirty.... )

Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

There's a website called Famous Smoke that advertises on Sirius all the time. I don't smoke so I know nothing about cigars. But they act like they have a huge inventory and best prices.

Good thinking, wouldn't want to develop any bad habits. ;)

I hope that after a bit of thought you can say it's not the smoke shops that make you feel a little dirty, but the media, who have been trying to tell you how to live your life and what choices you SHOULD make, that have made you feel dirty whenever you go into one of those smoke shops. Imagine a country where we have all the freedoms we now have, but we also have the freedom not to feel guilty making the choice to smoke or not to smoke.

Note that I'm a non-smoker and hate the smell of cigarette, pipe and cigar smoke. Doesn't mean you can't do it. It DOES mean don't smell up my air and don't flick your cigarette butt anywhere. But choose to smoke if you want to.

I figure if I don't smoke, then I can double up on the drinking. Isn't that how bad habits work?

Thompson used to be cheaper, but check them out.

Many Canadian cigar shops will sell you Cubans, if you want to spend the money. Call them.

I prefer to support local cigar shops - not sure why you would feel unwelcome. Most regular customers who smoke in the shops will talk your ear off - very friendly, for the most part.

.

I have smoked several cuban cigars over the years, most recently when I was in the Domincan a few years back. I was under whelmed.

Personally I think the appeal is nothing more than the fact that they were (still?) a forbiden object.
I've also heard that the plants arent what they were, due to over production and poor farming practices. But what do I know, it is just a tiny island, ran by a two faced dictator for the last few decades.
