well i have developed a habit over the last 5 years. cigars and cocktails. what says you!? whats your combination.

My cigars of choice are...

daily smoke. Acid ~ Kuba Kuba
special smoke ~ Macanudo Crystal Cafe

i enjoy rumchata on the rocks or tequila in a tumbler. but mostly its just ice water.

I'm considering making a smoking room... maybe a couple of old barber chairs... i need ideas

Ughhh.  I love cigars. But I quit smoking, so I can't touch Cigars anymore.  I miss them more than cigarettes.

H. Upman 1844 Reserve

Arturo Fuente Short Story  (Love these, for a nice smoke) Cameroon wrapper.  Nice.

I've got a client whom every time I go over, he has a couple really nice cigars waiting for me.  1 to take home, 1 to smoke while there.  He pops open whatever we feel like drinking and we waste an hour or two.

Last time I stopped in, he says "I've got some new cigars"

I had to tell him that I couldn't smoke them.

He was truly sad.

It kinda made me feel good in a way, because I realized he really enjoyed just hanging out smoking a cigar with me.  I almost caved, but I didn't.

i talked to my doctor... he said 2 cigars a week and he has no concerns...

i have never smoked a cigarette in my life... and i started cigars about 10 years ago at a party... very seldom... then when i got divorced i said screw it and starrted smoking them more regularly...

I dreamed of having a smoking room too.  Here's how I pictured mine, maybe this will give you some ideas.

Classic Wooden door for entry,  Maybe even with some frosted glass inset in the middle, maybe one of my favorite quotes on the front door.

Inside, a couple of leather chairs that recline.  Not movie style seats, but more of big comfortable chair. Leather of course.

Wood on the walls.  Not an old stodgy wood like oak, I would've actually liked to remove the 1x's from an old barn (100 years of weathering looks cool on a wall) do at least one wall like that.

Here's where I was always uncertain...Do I put my humidor between the 2 chairs so I can rummage through it anytime, or do I set it off to the side, so once I make my decision, I sit and relax.

Get a nice Vector Tri Pump lighter, nice humidor, join the cigar club and have at it.

Obviously a nice pair of speakers, I think a turntable and some vintage vinyl would do well in the room too.

I envy you.....

One more thing....NO TV.

Also,  do one portion of the wall in something like a high quality cork.  When you're done smoking, take a small tack or pin and stick the cigar band on the cork.

After a few thousand cigars, you'll have a cool looking wall.

I love cigar bands.

great ideas

i want seating for 4. but i really like the idea of old barber chairs...

i was thinking zebra wood or teak... just not sure...

small walk in humidor, wet bar...

i would like to do vinyl but the smoke may mess up the jackets and the vinyl...
i think a wrapper art piece would be amazing.... not sure if i would do book shelves or in ceilings.... for sure a pop up tv...

for sure wood blnds/shutters

i like the idea of a box humidor between seats...

eventually when vanessa and i tie the knot we will have a house with some property and i will have a 90x30 workshop/garage/lounge ..that i already have started renderings for... but for the time being i like the idea of an inside smoking room... i mean i always smoke cigars on the lanai...

Earlier tonight I actually caught the Charlie Sheen Man Caves episode from this year. He is big on wine and cigars. His room turned out pretty sweet. It did have a TV and a Harman HTIB. The entry doors were nice, heavy duty. Two seats, that's all.

I can understand the no TV thing, but can you imagine watching Predator or Total Recall with a single malt and a stogie?

I saw that mancave episode

Bears game or Blackhawks game a stogie and a libation. No women. No kids. No problems.

Me and my (now) X Best friend started smoking cigars when we were 18 we have an amazing smoke shop and they are always getting crazy stuff in. I cannot for the life of me remember the name (it will come to me) but it was from a small town in virginia, most amazing cigar I have ever had. He also went on a cruise and was able to pick up a few true cubans which as you can imagine amazing.

Ever since i was a little kid i have always loved the smell of cigars, just something about the smell..

I do plan on having a smoking room.

I want to do mine kind of like what hasbeen said with barnwood, old barrels just an all around rustic manly room. BUT i also want to put my love of cars in there and thought about taking 3x3ft sheets of metal, have them rolled to give it just a slight round look and have them each painted the color of every color vehicle ive ever owned. I want seating for 4 with a set of totem rainmakers and krell amps and i want a big heavy rustic mahogany door for the entrance!

Just had a Testarosso with Angels Envy neat the other day thinking about this very subject.

Its my favorite time to listen to music so vinyl would be a must but would only bring in the LP itself and leave the rest out of the room.

I would also have to have some form of quiet ventilation to suck some of the smoke out.

Two chairs is enough, that's enough conversation for the moment.

Smaller floor standers next to fireplace or a window with a view, either is fine.

No TV is fine with me.

No gashes unless partaking and going by the code.

Actually this is perfect for a little 70's retro system I am putting together.

Of course the best backdrop for all this is a massive thunder storm going on and sitting out on the porch, I am sure Ed can relate.

I have a smoking room. It's also known as the garage.
Decorated with man tools and power equiptment.
If you really want to sit there's a riding mower with cup holder.
