I am going to do a URC rf remote to control a cablebox, blu-ray, Samsung led and Samsung soundbar. I was wondering how you guys are controlling the volume and power of the soundbar. I can't find any codes for them in the database.
This will be the first cheap soundbar I have ever done.

You learn the codes from the sound bar into the URC remote.

FYI, there is nothing even closely resembling discretes for that thing (power or input). The handful of them I have installed, I have routed everything through the tv and enabled the "auto power" feature on the soundbar. Basically shuts it off after 5? minutes without an audio signal and powers back on when an audio signal is detected.
Also, if it is one with the bluetooth sub, keep the sub and MRF away from each other (and away from the soundbar). I had a heck of a time dealing with that on the first install I did.

This setup with Samsung TVs and soundbars used to get installed on our yachts by the factory a few years ago. The only way I have got it to work was to enable the HDMI control and use the tv to control the power and input on the soundbar.

I had to keep the HDMI control on and use the "SoundShare" feature that Samsung has. Basically pairing the soundbar and the tv using bluetooth. Once the tv turns on the soundbar also turns on but it takes 15-20 seconds for the sound to enable. Then the power and the volume works through the tv codes.
I couldn't get the URC remote to accept the soundbar codes.
