Suggested UPS for Protecting Projector from Brown-outs

I'm spec'ing a theater room with a projector that draws 375 watts in full power mode. There's not enough remaining capacity on the main rack UPS, so I need a separate, reasonably-priced, small form-factor UPS to run in-line with the projector to protect against bulb damage from brown-outs, etc.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Wouldn't a regulator be a better choice for brown outs? Furman SPR-20i has a capture range of about 85v to 139v and outputs a steady 120v.

For a UPS to be useful the voltage has to go to zero.

True enough...I guess I misused the term brown-out.

I meant the short black-outs we seem to frequently experience here [2-3 seconds, usually several in a row]. In other words, I don't necessarily need a UPS with capacity to handle extended black-outs of 5 minutes or more.

If the Furman is too expensive APC makes them too - the LineR 600 and LineR 1200.

Im in business for profit.  Provide products that end consumers having hard times to get their hands on.  SurgeX is the answer.

I'm interested in using one of those APC Line R devices for a JVC RS45 installed in a rural area. It's had a couple of problems with short bulb life and processor failure. LineR 600. The client never notices anything funny with their electrical and the previous projector was installed for 5 years with no problems.

Nevertheless I want to put something just in case. The projector is installed below a narrow beam (about 8 inches wide) so I don't think a Furman piece will work on top of it. Power outlet is on the beam and the electrical wire is not run from the AV rack at all. If the projector consumes about 360 Watts max will the APC Line R LE600 suffice? I'm a bit skeptical about a device that's less than $100.

That's well within its capabilities. I had a plasma TV, tivo, HTPC, MSC400, switch, etc connected to a 600. I also had a PC that wasn't, along with some other equipment.

A squirrel(s?) decided they liked to chew the neutral line at the pole. They eventually cut it loose.
Things started to behave funny. Lights would be dim, then brighten when another device would turn on. Sometimes it was the reverse.

I eventually figured it out. Meter reading would show 80v, then turn something on and it would go to 160v, crazy stuff like that.

The PSU in the PC smoked, as did several other pieces of equipment (including some expensive lighting controls). The plasma and everything connected to the LineR worked fine during that time and none of that equipment was damaged.

If anything, the time it took me to figure out the problem was extended as everything connected to the LineR was working perfectly. Oh and that this happened on christmas day. :(

I now have several of these throughout the house. Cheap insurance.
