LOL I wrote out a long post about the article and disruptive technologies but then i decided to delete it and ask you what you were whining about... I wish the article would have stayed up. This thread would have made it to ten pages :).

I did not read it. I do not care what other people think of "me". I change my mind sometimes so I do not see a problem with Julie deleting the article. Obviously you all changed her mind on the matter. Good for you! Now piss off and let me complain about something else.

Why can people who wire homes in which the equipment is intended to be in a rack, not leave the cables anywhere near long enough? I kill youZ!!

And screw you obamacare! How stupid can a website be? It kind of works now, but make me press "Save and Continue" after EVERY question? Do they realize that it can take up to a minute to do that? And then since they can not verify my ID for another stupid reason, do not tell me my application is incomplete!
Why force me to look at every question AGAIN just to resave and recontinue with the information that has already been entered? I may have carpal tunnel just from trying to see how bad they are going to rape me for "Affordable" health care? I hope they cover that.

Crap....am I a whiner now? If so, let me know. I will delete this.

You don't like their $50M website that they paid $650M for?

And THAT is a chickenshit move. Plant your flag and stand behind your infotainment or utter nothing, but you can't just "take it back".

I guess you had second thoughts about the hill you want to die on.

Dude, Julie owes you a debt of gratitude for taking the spot light off of her and putting it on yourself with these completely arrogant and immature comments.

Recognizing ones mistakes and correcting them is the foundation of society. Being too arrogant and thick headed to do so is the problem with this world and why I will guess you will continue to spin your wheels.

I lost my interest in shiny brand new things a while ago.

I install systems that work so that we get paid and I as well as my employees can take home a salary to their families.

I'm not a betting man, and am not going to have my business die on the bleeding edge.

Those of you with more gumption than I do....carry on and good luck.

Right. She had a reason for publishing the blog the first time. She knows many of the members here personally and has likely had to listen to their laments as recently as CEDIA 3 weeks ago.

There was no retraction to the story, no mea culpa. It just disappeared leaving only the dust cloud of this thread in it's wake. THAT is the chickenshit move.

All you have to do is look at the comments in this post [Link: cepro.com] to see what she's talking about. Reading those it seems like the biggest threat to the industry is the end-user...

We don't. It makes staying away from the shiny stuff pretty easy. It's all you kids down South that get to be tempted while we're busy printing money up here. :P
