I don't do much Samsung, and this might seal the deal for good if I cant find a resolution.

The display keeps popping up a message about the current source not being active and I have to grab the OEM remote which has a trackpad type thing on it ( thats a whole other discussion). I think there are 2 options something about hitting the STB button and the other option which I cant remember what it says but it gets rid of the popup.

Does anyone know of a workaround for this? Or better yet how to disable it? I went into the menu and disabled CEC and most other nonsense that I can find.

Didn't you do a forum search first???

It's in a thread that's been bouncing around on the front page the last week and a half.

Use HDMI 2, set it to Air, not Cable and skip the channel search.
Bill's Electric & Home Theater & Plumbing & Automation & Small Engine Repair, and Animal Removal Services......did I mention we do remotes also?

Go into settings, devices, universal remote, and delete all sources listed.
