I've noticed an issue with trying to replay to posts using my Win7 32, and Chrome browser.
I tried two different computers.

Starting a new thread works fine.
Replaying with quotes works fine.

I also noticed that trying to use the Paste button above and Paste as plain text will open a pop-up window and allow me to type, but the OK button is grayed out.

Lastly, creating this thread brought up newer looking icons, see below:

Replaying to already created text has an older style icons:

This is same PC, same time (as in right now) and same Chrome browser... I'm confused :-(

Same here, I had to switch back to the "non-advanced" editor to be able to post. The setting is in your used control panel. I prefer the non-advanced panel, I can copy-paste normally and chrome's spell check works without having to run a wizard.
More zip ties!

Glad to see I'm not the only one.
It should be easier for Daniel to troubleshoot

Try now!

The advanced editor has been upgraded to a new version (what a massive pain trying to do a major version shift). You might have to CTRL-F5 or even delete your temporary internet files to get it working (some browsers hang onto javascript files way too long).

Note that the advanced editor's spell check button is now disabled, as the updated editor crashed with the old plugin for our server-side checker, no updated plugin is available, and I didn't like the standard spell checker that's slow and full of ads.

However, to make up for it I've configured the new editor so that a modern browser's built-in spell check will work just like it does with the normal/plain text entry box.

i cleared all my browsing data and restarted chrome, but i still can't use the advanced editor.

nvm, it seems to work, but the cursor doesn't blink in the text box until you start typing.

Seems to be a known issue... will hopefully be fixed in a version coming out in the next couple of weeks. I'll update then.

Daniel, it works now, thanks.

In normal mode, I don't see any icons, but the built in browser's spell checker is there and it works.

In advanced mode, the options are there; in a monochrome colors. What happened to the pretty colors? JK :-)
