What's everyones preference. I personally like the Samsung. The new 56" has hdmi, discrete ir codes and a decent picture. It might just be the anti-Sony in me. I don't know. Just wondering everyone elses thoughts.

Most everybody seems to like the Samsung. Even amoung other DLP's, the picture quality is definately in a world of its own. The problem is..... Is DLP technology mature enough yet? My shop is also a TV repair shop, we have 4 full time TV techs and do warranty work for almost everybody. When the DLP's come in it is usually the mirror engine which fails, some under warranty, some not. Its your gamble, but if you go DLP, extend the warranty as long as you can. My cent.
