SO i sold my first SHarp wireless LCD and it works great! Except for one problem. The cable remote controll does not work. Anyone have thsi problem? The tv was only 6 feet away from the controll box and didn't work also. but if i go infront of the cable box it changes the channels.
INfo: Controll box is sitting on the counter, there is no interferance from anything and the cable transmition is great. Only problem is the remote.

Anyhelp would be great!

Thanks again,
Lonny

Need more info. I just installed my first wireless LCD. The IR emitters that come with the set aren't that great but the media reciever has a standard 3.5mm ir port so you could try using standard emitters.

Jayson,
That is what i was thinking, but then i was also told 1. the bandwith of the cablebox remote is cappable of being transmitted with this type of tv, and 2. that xantec emmiters will not work as these are differnt then the commmon emmiter... this is what my suppliers head tech told me.

Please fill me in by suggesting a model number that I can look up for info on this product, or line of products.

I am having trouble envisioning wireless LCD...I just can't get my mind around, say, a 20" that runs on batteries and uses an antenna to pick up component signals from somewhere....
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Your cable box is operating on a 56k carrier frequency. The remote you are using probably does not support 56k. Russound has a 56k remodulator, part# IR REMOD-56K.
