Once the Xbox One comes out, we will probably all at some point need to extend the new kinect (USB 3.0). Are there any extenders for USB 3.0 currently out?

It looks to me that the rear of the X-box One has a proprietor port for the new Kinect?

Microsoft will probable come out with an extension cable that will not be certified for pulling in walls and it will be 3ft. to short!

Once again Microsoft has missed the boat on this One......no pun intended!

yup, my guess, like the 360, it needs more power, so , like the newer 360's, it is a proprietary connector. Hopefully there will be a good solution for those that need it (i.e. USB3 + power adaptor)

Yeah didn't even think that it would be a proprietary port. Just looked at the PS4 and its the same way. I'm glad the majority of my customers don't play games, but I still need to find a solution for myself. I think I have finally decided on a PS4 over the Xbox One. My rack is about a 60' cable run so hopefully someone comes up with a solution.
