I just played with a iPhone 5 that has a beta of iOS7. It's pretty damn slick, easy on the eyes and iTunes radio works great, both on wifi and cellular.

The good thing about the iTunes Radio or iRadio or whatever they call it, is that it won't (hopefully) be limited to the US. Pandora (and a bunch of others) are not available in Canada (thank you CRTC) and it is a pain as we have a lot of snowbirds who use these features when in the US but come home and can't use any of them. Thankfully I have found a way (assuming legal) to gain access to Pandora, Hulu Plus, and a few others in Canada.

I am hoping iRadio is designed like Pandora and plays some upcoming bands/artists and not just the mainstream that terrestrial radio is playing.

Well since apple had the first original UI, which they improved on and then google was able to see and use and easily sync with all their Mac computers...they did the obvious by making a similar UI and trying to improve on it.

it took them a couple years before they had a product worth a damn. In the mean time apple was making improvements along the way as well. Since google has been improving on what they felt the apple UI was missing, it's easy to say that apple either is copying the ideas that google has implemented and have worked well....or they already new and just have taken their time woeking out the best way to implement.

in the end, I really care less to compare. I'm till happy with iPhones and struggle every time I have to use a clients "something else" .

i also struggle with Mac 's since I'm a windows user.

Apples radio strips out swear words and leaves an odd silence in its place. It's not even sampled over with a non swear word.

I don't mind the removal of explicit language. We are commonly listening to Pandora because my 2 year old loves to dance in the kitchen (I might bust a move as well) and whenever a song comes on with swearing it makes me cringe. I'm not a parent who bans all violence and swearing until they are 35 but I certainly don't like them to hear it more than I say it....

Yeah the pastel color thing isn't the greatest but I wonder if that come be a selected template either immediately or in the future.

Do you get a free pair of black horn rimmed glasses and skinny jeans with the purchase of one?
