Adagio worked just fine for what it was. I have several decent sized (~20 zone) Adagio systems chugging away out there. One power failure induced issue and that is about it. I will say I had issues with their keypads (the wheel in the center is failure prone).
Now Prodigy on the other hand…. Don't get me started.
No opinion of Pyng, haven't used it for anything as of yet.
Kind of bumming that they never did do a dock for the mini. I still sell a decent amount of the docks for the standard sized Ipads.
Crestron should change their name to Questron. I swear, every builder I deal with mispronounces the name.
Exactly-Adagio if used properly is fine. It was a great little DA system, but when people started hanging all their lights and HVAC etc off of it things could go to hell.
The APAD was just silly.
Prodigy is great if used correctly. A small 1-5 zone system with TVs etc was great. On a PMC3 you could do a full home if you did all the work in SIMPL, it was just being limited to Prodigy hardware.
Pyng is actually quite nice, you should at least try it at your own home.
"Questron" do you know how many clients think there is a Q in there?
