Greetings:

I've been trying to get cisco cis330 ir codes with global cache ir learner and ilearn tool without any results.

Can somebody tell me what I've missed? or if there's someone out there that can send me the hex codes for this device it will be great.

Thank you.

What control system are you using? It should be in their database. When you open up the GC learner software, make sure you lock onto the iTach with the correct IP address. Also, make sure you have HEX picked from the drop down menu on the right. Then you can save to a text file so you can copy and paste into whatever control system you are using.

Im using irule as control app and gc-irl ir learner dongle instead of an itach.

I read in a forum that gc-irl has some problems with large codes and that I should use itach instead. Don know if this is true.

Here are function numbers for a CIS 430.  These match the two Pronto Hex signals given here for the CIS330.  The protocol is Nokia32 device 36.128.  Use IrMaster to convert these into Pronto Hex or some other formats.  For example, to generate the signal for Power, enter 36 into D, 128 into S, 12 into F, and set T to either 0 or 1. Type X=38 into additional parameters.

Those codes do work.  We don't need you to verify them.  If they don't work; You sir, you'll need more help as you started this thread originally.

In this case, I used two approaches.  I searched here, and found a thread with two signals (link in post #4).  I used IRScope to decode these, although I could have used IrMaster instead.  The specific device and function numbers for the CIS430 came from hifi-remote.com, using RemoteMaster to extract the information.   I also found that the device number used by the Scientific Atlanta IPN330 is different to the Cisco CIS330, while the SA IPN420MC is the same as the CIS330.  So I don't know if the "the database" code will work.
