My cousin is moving to Ireland and wants to bring a surround system with him. I have no expierience with the voltage or TV systems (PAL?) in Ireland and want to know what gear he can get thru me and what he should purchase there.
My assumption is CD,DVD, VCR, TV there and speakers, remote, receiver from me. Any help will be truly appreciated. Thanks

Speakers and remote should be no trouble. I would be careful on the receiver. The voltage and frequency are different there most likely. Also, you could supply patch cords, all but possibly coax. Coax is often terminated with BNC in Europe instead of F connectors.
Basically, if it runs video or plugs into the power outlet, you might be best off letting him buy it there.
