Just got an e-mail from a client say that his Apple TV is giving a message something to the effect of " HDCP does not support this content". Just wondering if anyone has had this come up.
I haven't made contact with him yet so I don't know the exact message or if it's just the ATV or other devices. The system has been in since just before x-mas with out any issues?
I'm pretty sure when we left the AppleTV was set for 1080p output vs auto.

The system consists of:
Samsung 7100 series LED TV (I don't remember which HDMI input it's on?)
Zektor HDMI Extenders (SoloCat HDL)
DVDO Edge Green (with latest firmware as of 12-22)
Apple TV
Sony Blu-ray
DirecTV DVR
Sonos Connect
Denon 4308ci (audio only, no video inputs are being used)

It sounds like the AppleTV is in sleep mode.  This will happen now and again.

Have him turn the entire system off, turn everything back on.  and go to APpleTV.  Once he goes to APpleTV go to

Settings->General->Sleep After->

Repeatedly press the select button until it says Never.

I beleive the choices are 1hr, 5hr, 10hr, Never.

Select Never.

Problem solved.

I set my own ATV2 to never sleep and I still have to wake it up.

I set it to sleep after a couple of hours - a simple "Press Menu to begin" on the Apple Screen interface will solve any issue.

I have a "menu" ir command in my power up macro.
I've already sent a message for my client to go to settings then go to restart and see if that fixes it, haven't heard back yet???

Update firmware on AppleTV. Would bet money on that fixing the issue.
