Hi all, I found these last night on the web, and I was wondering if anyone had tried them. [Link: davidsteele.com]They look cool. If no one has had any bad experiences with them, I may try them. The only bad thing is they don't offer a 3-way switch. But I thought it may be an easy way to control a few sets of lights with the pronto, without x-10. Thanks, Mark

Ok, since I didn't get any negative responses from anyone about these, I got some, and they work awesome! For a simple little lighting circuit, this is the way to go. Granted, I've only had them in for about 20 minutes, so I can't speak to their lifetime, but they are cool to use with a learning remote, although I found I need to program 2 buttons, an "on/off" and a "dimmer" button. On their remote, it only takes one button to do it all, but the response of the Pronto had problems turning on and off. Seems like the signal lasted too long. So I programmed a short pulse on the on/off button, and it seems to work well. Anyways, just thought I would review these to let you know it's a cheap way to control lighting with a remote, and not need an x-10 controller.
