What I'm looking for is not by any means a normal, everyday remote.
The easiest way I can explain this... I have 3 devices. Two of the devices ARE already remote controlled by a dual button garage door opener. (Each device just has one button to click through a slide show).
I now need to add a remote for the third device. All the third device does is select one of four inputs on a router. Currently, we have a 4 button panel that you press a button for each input. I know I'm going to be asked if we can remote control this panel.
Size is a definate issue. The smaller the better.
I thought I'd come right to the experts, and hopefully I can have an answer when I'm asked for it. :)

I cant quite picture what your doing here, but my first instinct would be that the "Garage Door" remote is Radio Frequency. No Universal remote is going to learn the Garage door RF type control.
Upgrade to a 3 function RF Garage Door Remote would probobly be my only idea.
