Is anybody here familiar with Audio Request PC transfer software that allows the servers to share MP3 files with other computers in the network? I'm having dificulties with a Pro120 because even when the program shows that it is sharing the files on the PC with the server I can not find the Network shared file on the server.

I'm always right. The only time I was wrong was the time that I thought, that I was wrong.

What exactly do you want to be able to do?
The PC transfer software lets you move files from the Request to the PC & vice-versa. You can also go Request-to-PC in a Windows Explorer window, but not PC-to-Request... you can't alter anything in the Request outside their software.
We have a Nitro running in the office, and can see it's entire library from any PC. I don't remember it requiring any special setup after assigning it an IP.

If the computers are all on the same network, you don't need any fancy SW. Just share the folder that contains the MP3, open up RealPlayer, WinAmp, et al. and open the playlist you want and hit play.

You can go "both ways" on an ARQ using Samba in Windows. You need to know the static IP of the ARQ. Type in \\IP.IP.IP.IP (no http:) in explorer and drag the UPLOAD folder on to your desktop (or where you choose) and drag PC files into that folder. This is easy for a few files. The other folders are for uploading new themes and pictures and such.
If you want to transfer entire music collections, use their PC transfer software. Talk to Request, they'll be more than happy to walk you through it.
